White Chocolate Raspberry Scones

White Chocolate Raspberry Scones are a delicious treat that's perfect for breakfast, brunch, or afternoon tea. Here's a recipe to make these mouth-watering scones at home


Instructions

.2 cups all-purpose flour
.1/4 cup granulated sugar
.1 tbsp baking powder
.1/2 tsp salt
.1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
.1/2 cup heavy cream, plus more for brushing
.1 large egg
.1 tsp vanilla extract
.1/2 cup fresh raspberries
.1/2 cup white chocolate chips
.Turbinado sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the chilled butter pieces to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingertips to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse sand.
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, egg, and vanilla extract.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Gently fold in the raspberries and white chocolate chips.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead a few times to bring the dough together.
Form the dough into a circle, about 1 inch thick, and cut it into 8 even wedges.
Place the wedges onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each scone.
Brush the tops of the scones with some heavy cream and sprinkle some turbinado sugar over each scone.
Bake the scones for 18-20 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the scones from the oven and allow them to cool on a wire rack.
