Classic Beef Burger

A beef burger is a classic sandwich that is made from a patty of ground beef that is usually grilled, fried or broiled until cooked through. It is typically served on a bun with a variety of toppings and condiments.

Ingredients

.450 gm  ground beef (80/20 lean to fat ratio)
.1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
.1 tsp garlic powder
.1 tsp onion powder
.1 tsp salt
.1/2 tsp black pepper
.4 hamburger buns
.Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.)

Instructions

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and form them into patties. Press down slightly in the center of each patty to create a slight indentation. This will help the burger cook evenly and prevent it from puffing up in the middle.
Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheese on top of each patty if desired, and allow it to melt.
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in the skillet for about 1 minute, or until they are lightly browned.
Assemble the burgers with your desired toppings, and serve hot.

Enjoy your delicious homemade burgers!
