Ingredients:
500g minced mutton
2 tbsp oil
2 medium onions, finely chopped
2 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp garlic paste
2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
4-6 Pav bread rolls
Butter, for toasting the Pav
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions. Saute till onions turn golden brown.
Add ginger and garlic paste and cook till the raw smell disappears.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.
Add minced mutton and mix well. Cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes until the mutton changes color.
Add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
Add salt to taste and cook for a few more minutes till the mutton is cooked through.
Heat a griddle or a tawa and apply butter on the Pav bread rolls. Toast them until golden brown.
Serve the mutton kheema hot with the toasted Pav bread rolls.
